The original A/A & E/S of the Project has been accorded vide FC cum Secy. IPH letter No. IPH15-85 Vol. -II dated 2nd June 1997 for the cost of Rs. 143.90 Crores. The revised A/A & E/S of the project has also been accorded amounting to Rs. 310.89 Crores and Re-revised A/A & E/S of the project has also been accorded vide Secy. IPH No IPH – B ( F)2-3/2004-III Dated Shimla – 31.03.2012 for Rs. 387.17 Crore. The Project has been completed with a completion cost of Rs. 387.22 Crore and Project Completion Report also stands submitted during 09/2013. This project has directly benefited the farmers of 93 villages of two number constituencies i.e. Fatehpur and Indora Tehsil Distt. Kangra. It has raised their living standard by transforming their barren land into green belt. The canal serves as a life line for its beneficiaries.
